Hello,
I am Blanca Paloma
Host families in Malaga
I provide accommodation and support for international students who come to Malaga to study Spanish. My passion is bringing cultures together through shared living and learning. I have been a host family and tutor for Spanish students for three decades.
Blanca Paloma's Home
A family in Malaga
What began as a hosting project has turned into a collection of rewarding moments and shared laughter. My role as a mentor goes hand in hand with our daily life together, from helping with the language to providing guidance with studies, school paperwork and socio-cultural integration.

Blanca Paloma's Home
More than just accommodation
As a host family and tutor, my aim is to ensure that the stay is much more than just accommodation; I want the student to feel at home whilst making progress with their Spanish. My home is never empty; it’s filled with stories of places that, thanks to THE STUDENTS who have lived with my family, I now know. They say the world is a small place, but for me, the world has been my living room.
Cultural Immersion
Tower of Babel
You can’t imagine how much fun it is to live in a constant Tower of Babel. From the funniest linguistic mix-ups to the stories we tell trying to explain our local customs, every student has brought a spark of joy and freshness into my home.
A home for every student
A genuine support network
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet other host families who share my philosophy of hospitality, care and dedication. Communication between the student, the tutor and the host family is essential for a harmonious living arrangement and the student’s development; as well as integrating into a family, the student also becomes part of the local community and neighbourhood. I am proud to be able to count on this group of families whom I know personally – people I trust completely who also live close to the schools.

SUPPORT
We are always in touch to discuss each student’s progress. This network enables us to respond quickly and effectively to any needs that may arise.
FAMILIES
We help students from different families get to know one another. This is a huge help during the first few days.
