Growing up... away from home
Learn Spanish by staying with a family
Young people have the ability to settle into and adapt to a new family. Although everything may seem different at first and they may feel homesick, they always have the support of their host family and mentor to help them through the transition.

Stay with a host family
Living with and adapting to a new family in another country takes real courage. It requires an open mind and a keen desire to explore.

Rooms
Your room is your own private space within the house. It will include:

The family respects your space, but as a student, you must also keep your room clean and tidy.
Shared spaces
Common Areas
The bathroom may sometimes be private, whilst at other times it is shared with other students.
The living room, kitchen and terrace are shared spaces.
It is common to discuss energy, electricity and water usage with the student upon arrival.
